Episode 025 - The One When Mike Called In to the Show

Our recording session was longer, but here is a small bit to keep all of our loyal listeners going. Matt got a little worked up again and some of his words had to be blipped.

You'll hear Mike say, "No one's trying to take your land."

You'll hear Matt say, "We are above the shenanigans of violence."

We're not sure when we will stop talking about January 6, 2021. But, it is on all of our minds, isn't it?

Episode 024 - The One When It All Went To Sh**

We know what you're thinking...and you're right. We did skip number 23. That episode has not been released. This one jumped the gun.

Everyone has been so eager for 2020 to be over. We all looked back on the year and thought, "Man...that year sucked. It can surely never be as bad as that last year was." January 6th, 2021 said, "Hold my beer."

There is just so much SMH to go over. SMH. SMH. SMH.

Our message to everyone trying to justify or say what happened didn't happen: "Stop it. Just stop it."

You'll hear Matt say, "By definition, a riot is violent."

You'll hear Mike say, "This isn't a Target, right? This was at the State Capitol."

Do you not like what we say about this? Now is your time to really let us have it.

Episode 022 - The One About Bathrooms

We were having a discussion about Matt's bathroom hangups while we were recording and we felt it was important to let you all hear it. You are welcome.

Then we fade in and out of a discussion about what is or is not respectful while the National Anthem or the Pledge of Allegiance is happening. Part of the first part relates to whether the Star Spangled Banner is appropriate as the national anthem.

That and Traditions. What are traditions? Are they necessary? Are they important? Are there any good traditions?

You'll hear Matt say, "I was not a fan of it all, you know what I mean?"

You'll hear Mike say, "Start a new tradition - a tradition of growth...learning."

Episode 021 - The One Where We Make Mike Tyson Mad

Matt really was not wanting to talk more about coronavirus but Mike managed to get Matt into more discussion. To be fair, it's all that is in the news.

First, though, we will briefly talk about election fraud and aliens. We are not saying the two are related, but the discussions do take place back-to-back. Thankfully, it allows us to mention the monoliths again.

The COVID-19 vaccine is set to be approved and released (as of the time of this episodes release) in the next two days for the United States. It is already being distributed in the United Kingdom.

You'll hear Mike say, "I have a golden doodle just like yours."

You'll hear Matt say, "I'm just going to bring up a whole bunch of different alien references to different movies."

Episode 020 - The One When We Learn About Molossia

That text alert is not your phone.

It was a longer period of time than we wanted to have since our last recording. What with Thanksgiving and then some logistical challenges we had the week after, we were having difficulty getting together for a recording session.

Monoliths, Commercials and Masks (again).

The mystery of the monolith is a wonderful break from the awful of 2020. Do you like how Mike was caught off guard by the start of our theme song? Aliens or artists? Or alien artists?

We talk a little about the Thanksgiving celebrations we had in each our separate homes in complete compliance with the wishes of the Governor.

After another brief coronavirus discussion, we plan a future getaway to the foreign, independent, sovereign country of the Republic of Molossia...fully surrounded by the State of Nevada.

You'll hear Matt say, "Cause it looks like a knight from a chess set...or it's a dead horse."

You'll hear Mike say, "So, if he's an extreme sports guy, I'm pretty sure he rides motorcycles through the desert and messes it up."

Episode 019 - The One With a Mandate (or Two)

We wanted to follow up on a couple of topics that we just talked about the last couple of weeks. There are updates with new shutdowns and GSA ascertainment for Joe Biden.

We also briefly- and very briefly - touch on Kenosha, Wisconsin, particularly in regards to Kenosha Kyle, who was just released from jail on bond.

And how can we resist some more social media and freedom of speech?

But mostly...it's Thanksgiving week. We want everyone to be able to look through or around the crazy and the anger and the fighting and the division. Find the reasons to be grateful because they are all around you - regardless of the crazy.

You'll hear Mike say, "Listen pillow, if I do something that the world sees as bad, are you gonna bail me out?"

You'll hear Matt say, "We turned the entire county into a giant HOA."

Episode 018 - The One When Matt Doesn't Know India

The article is "Immunity to the Coronavirus May Last Years, New Data Hint" from the New York Times, by Apoorva Mandavilli on November 17, 2020.

COVID-19 hasn't gone anywhere. And neither have a lot of the questions that a lot of people have - including Mike & Matt.

Ultimately, we acknowledge, however, that whatever the restrictions or capricious rules may be, we need to do our best to respect one another and help each other get to the other side of this particular storm. The storm called corona.

You'll hear Matt say, "They just want to stay in business and sell you their wares..."

You'll hear Mike say, "You dirty germ!"
